Health Ministries

The mission of the Jamaica Seventh-Day Church Health Ministries Department is:

• to provide quality information on medical care
• to allow each person to perform optimally, physically and mentally,
• to achieve his highest intellectual potential, and
• to minimize interruptions in his physical and spiritual pursuits
• to provide strong, effective health education programs
• to help each individual intellectual, social, and physical growth and development as they seek to corporate with the Divine plan of nature.

Assuming the primary mission is achieved, the secondary mission of the Jamaica Seventh-Day  Adventist Church:

• to maintain participation in various training programs,
• to help educate new believers, existing members, and the community,
• to stimulate their spiritual growth, and
• to keep strong ties with the Creator who is our Lord and Master.to encourage each individual
• to be responsible for their own health and take all necessary steps in seeking Divine and Medical intervention for their health maintenance.

We believe that simple grain, fruits of the trees, vegetables, have all the nutritive properties necessary to maintain good body function. This a flesh diet cannot do.
